Atomic Radiative Transitions in Thermo Field Dynamics
In this work we study the energy exchange between an atomic system and a thermal radiation field, using the Dalibard, Dupont-Roc and Cohen-Tannoudji (DDC) construct, incorporating temperature effects to the eigenstates of the radiation field operator through the electromagnetic propagator of Thermo Field Dynamics in the Coulomb gauge. We also discuss the stability of the atomic system at finite...
متن کاملSupersymmetry in Thermo Field Dynamics
By considering the enlarged thermal system including the heat bath, it is shown that this system has supersymmetry which is not broken at finite temperature. The superalgebra is constructed and the Hamiltonian is expressed as the anti-commutator of two kinds of super charges. With this Hamiltonian and the thermal vaccum | 0(β) >, this supersymmetry is found to be preserved.
متن کاملA Second Supersymmetry in Thermo Field Dynamics
This article is an extension of the work done in [1] by R. Parthasarathy and R. Sridhar. There they consider supersymmetry in an enlarged thermal system (in a thermo field dynamic formulation) and show that this supersymmetry is not broken at finite temperature. Here we show, using an SU(1, 1) R-symmetry, that this system obeys a second supersymmetry. In addition, we proceed to see that this ne...
متن کاملThermo Field Dynamics and quantum algebras
The algebraic structure of Thermo Field Dynamics lies in the q-deformation of the algebra of creation and annihilation operators. Doubling of the degrees of freedom, tilde-conjugation rules, and Bogoliubov transformation for bosons and fermions are recognized as algebraic properties of hq(1) and of hq(1|1), respectively. متن کاملRadiative Transitions in Charmonium
The form factors for the radiative transitions between charmonium mesons are investigated. We employ an anisotropic lattice using a Wilson gauge action, and domain-wall fermion action. We extrapolate the form factors to Q2 = 0, corresponding to a real photon, using quark-model-inspired functions. Finally, comparison is made with photocouplings extracted from the measured radiative widths, where...
